Storyline:
What has happened to us? Despite the most advanced medical technology in the world, we are sicker than ever by nearly every measure. Cases of diabetes are exploding, especially amongst our younger population. About half of us are taking at least one prescription drug and major medical operations have become routine. Heart disease, cancer and stroke are the country's three leading causes of death, even though billions are spent each year to "battle" these very conditions. Millions suffer from a host of other degenerative diseases. Could it be there's a single solution to all of these problems? A solution so comprehensive, but so utterly straightforward, that it's mind-boggling that more of us haven't taken it seriously? Informative-educating-very well done. One of the best presentations I have ever seen with proof you should stop eating meat, and or dairy. Whole foods was the message and I heard it. Great flick flowed well from one point to another and one experience to another all coming to a great ending.

My wife and I switched to a vegan diet 6 weeks ago. She had taken a free lecture course at Whole Foods, where she learned of the Engine 2 Diet and Rip Esselstyn. The book was extremely interesting. The course instructor had mentioned this movie at a dinner provided for the lecture graduates. We went the next night and are so glad we did. The film presents an in depth look at the reasons we should eat a predominantly plant based diet. I believe that those people that value their health should watch this film. It will change the way you look at the fuel you put into your body. The movie poster for Forks over Knives has a message at the top it that I believe to be true. It says, "WARNING... THIS MOVIE MAY SAVE YOUR LIFE".

Forks over Knives was an awesome documentary. My only regret was that I didn't have every one of my family members and friends with me to see this very important and informitive movie. I rate it 5 stars. I would very much like to own a copy when/if it makes it to DVD.
